Join multi-state Health Care Compact

To authorize Michigan’s entry into a multi-state health care compact. If approved by congress all federal Medicaid and Medicare funds would be block-granted to member states, and member states would be exempt from health-related federal regulations and mandates. Member states would have primary responsibility for regulation of all nonmilitary health care goods and services in their state, plus health-related social welfare programs.
