2012 House Bill 5885: Revise ticket scalping law
  1. Introduced by Rep. Douglas Geiss (D) on September 12, 2012, to revise the law prohibiting athletic event ticket “scalping” to permit tickets to be sold at up to 10 percent above the ticker price in certain circumstances; and also, to require ticket resale websites to post certain disclosures specified in the bill.
