Kurt Damrow (R) on February 28, 2012, to require school districts to require an expelled student and his parents or guardians to agree in writing to specific conditions before conditionally allowing the individual to return to school. These may include a “behavior contract,” “anger management program” or other appropriate counseling, periodic progress reviews, etc.

The issue rightly belongs at the local level. Just as it wouldn’t be right coming from the federal level, it isn’t right coming from the State level. We need a part time legislature, not more central control & bureaucracy. Please get government out of our hair!
