2012 House Bill 5416: Cap municipal pension board travel expenses and more
  1. Introduced by Rep. John Walsh (R) on February 21, 2012, to cap municipal pension board spending on board members travel and training expenses at $150,000 per year, and $30,000 per board member. The bill also proposes specific pension system transparency requirements; restricts investments in entities whose principles made large political contributions; revises limits on investments in non-publically traded companies; and more.

I'm curious to know if with this bill they can still afford an limo hire service as they need to travel in style. I bet a lot of people are happy to see something like this and I want to think that this is a move in the right direction for us. We will just have to wait and see what happens next.
