Introduced by Rep. John Walsh (R) on February 21, 2012, to cap municipal pension board spending on board members travel and training expenses at $150,000 per year, and $30,000 per board member. The bill also proposes specific pension system transparency requirements; restricts investments in entities whose principles made large political contributions; revises limits on investments in non-publically traded companies; and more.

I bet a lot of people are happy to see something like this and I want to think that this is a move in the right direction for us. We will just have to wait and see what happens next.
