2012 House Bill 5397: Expand government roadway design liability
  1. Introduced by Rep. Jeff Irwin (D) on February 14, 2012, to make governments liable not only for damages incurred due to unrepaired or poorly maintained highways, but also for failing to repair and maintain signs and signals, and for improper roadway design.

 Good point.   This one sure is a stinker.  I really do hope that the rest of the legislature sees this one for what it is.

 Wonder under what law firms letterhead this bill was written on? Like someone suggested, maybe the legislators should wear Nascar driver type unforms so we can tell who their sponsors are.
