 Hell no! Don't we have enough people who are contributing nothing to the community? Maybe the sponsors of this legislation can give us a list of the tax exempt or tax reduced properties in the state that belong to religious,non-profit  and fraternal associations etc. and the values of those properties. I don't believe it was ever intended for those organizations to purchase retreats, farmlands and buildings and take them off the tax rolls so the rest of the community has to make up for the loss. These legislators would do better to tighten these exemptions so only those buildings NECESSARY for the conduct of their stated purpose be exempt, such as a church itself, but not bingo parlors, office buildings etc.
