Tom Casperson (R) on December 6, 2011, to authorize a specialty license plate for professional sports teams, including the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Lions, Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers and NASCAR. Proceeds from the sale of the plates would go to a professional sports team fund which would distribute money for charitable purposes.

The "Professional Sports Teams" should take a percentage of the high ticket sales or just part of the high prices that is charged for toys and shirts they sale with their names on. "Proceeds from sales of the plates would go to professional Sports team fund which would distribute money for charitable purposes." Sure thing Sen. Tom Casperson and does this say all money stays in Michigan? This just doesn't smell right at all. LJ
