Introduced by Sen. John Moolenaar (R) on June 30, 2011, to require parents in a divorce to attempt to establish a “parenting plan” that among other things provides “that the child be reared by both the father and mother in a manner that closely approximates their rearing before establishing separate domiciles or filing for divorce, unless it is not in the child's best interests”.
Referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee on June 30, 2011.
