The drug war has been ongoing for over forty years and the purchase of drugs hasn't stopped, yet, has it? How much of everyone's liberty do you think it is fair to take in exchange for the removal of drugs from the environment? Because, I'm pretty sure you could totally get rid of drugs in a totalitarian dictatorship but you might not like the rest of THAT society...

Most doctors are afraid of law enforcement repercussions of actually giving patients a medical excuse to use marijuana. They have very good reasons to be afraid, as law enforcement is doing everything it can to undermine this law and the peaceful application thereof. Add to that  illegal effort the work of legislators like Mr. Khan's to make it nearly impossible for someone to have marijuana use for their conditions authorized by a doctor and you get the will of the people undermined by special interests. I want to see anyone who interferes with this law unelected asap! That includes Rep. Khan!

It's a start to slow down the purchase of drugs
