College is college and in all high education institutions, substance consumption should be entirely and strictly forbidden, even if this means enhancing control measures. You can mix vice with a high ethical value institution. Ever since I started my rn to bsn online degrees, I got so much insight on the effects of drugs upon the organism and I can tell you. There`s absolutely nothing good to it.

It does seem strange that they would want to remove experienced veteran teachers to replace them with inexperienced novice teachers, and think this will improve education for students.  Beginning teachers are overwhelmed with just learning the curriculum and trying new management strategies.  How would this be better for students in struggling areas?

And also, to all those not in the teaching field......

How would like it if your company had no seniority agreements in place.....

Cheapest is not usually best.

another clueless,  on the take politician who  thinks he knows how to teach better than a teacher. It's ironic that Sen Pavlov who is on the education arm of the senate and get his his polititical donations from for profit school companies and anti union groups. The way those nit wits in Lansing are attacking education; the rest of the state will soon be as stupid as they are. But not as corrupt
