Introduced by Rep. Jon Switalski (D) on November 1, 2011, to authorize state government subsidies for "microenterprise businesses." The subsidies could be loan guarantees of up to $35,000 and some other benefits, distributed by “microenterprise development organizations” to whom the state would give grants. The bill would also create a state “Center on Microenterprise Development” to determine which organizations would get the grant money.
Referred to the House Commerce Committee on November 1, 2011.
