The bill would revise the ban on these drivers driving between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. if they are driving "in the course of employment" (rather than just to or from work), or are going to or from school-sanctioned events.

1) Re: 2011 House Bill 4533 (Revise new young driver passenger restriction ) by dohan on March 8, 2012I think the law should be more direct with inexperienced drivers and I think the law should have different norms for different types of cars. I am about to get my truck driving school Tucson permit and I'd like to see everybody is aware of the real importance of driving correctly on the public roads but unfortunately it's not the case and the fatalities statistics confirm it.

I agree. More selective elimination of liberty based on the tired "if
it saves one life" argument. Perhaps they should consider outlawing
drivers over 75 years old too.
The whole restriction ought to be repealed. Leave it to the parents to decide if their teenager is mature enough to have passengers in the car and how many.
