2011 House Bill 4474: Revise, eliminate certain government notice publication in newspapers
- Introduced by Rep. Sharon Tyler (R) on March 22, 2011, to repeal the requirement that townships publish certain legal notices in local newspapers, and instead allow them to post these on their own website, on a newspaper’s website, or on a public access cable TV station.

Many older people do not have internet access and if they do, do not know how or where to access the info. Not just older people, but anyone, people do not have the time to constantly check these websites to track the info. It is much faster and easier to look in the paper. Bad bill.
