Very good bill and happy that most voted on it. Identification was amajor problem for offender. This is one hurdle that returning citizens don't have to worry about.

Introduced in the House on January 13, 2011, to require the Secretary of State to accept a Michigan prison prisoner identification card as one of the identification documents that allows a person to get a drivers license, and give the Secretary of State access to the Department of Corrections prisoner biography database for purposes of making it easier for ex-prisoners to get a state drivers license (or ID card)

The vote was 107 in favor, 0 opposed and 2 not voting
