To place a September, 2014 sunset on a <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2009-sB-785">2009 law</a> that requires the Department of Environmental Quality (now Department of Natural Resources and Environment) to create a pilot program for assisting people whose property is subject to wetland permit mandates and restrictions in completing permit applications, minimizing project “impacts,” using “best management practices in a proposed project,” and otherwise complying with wetland improvement mandates and restrictions.
