I would agree with this type of bill only if the idiots who vote on them agree to get a brain transplant.

Sure, yeah.  Lets add another benefit to being a public employee, and add some more to the gap between the public and private sector. 


Oh, and lets do that while the state is in a financial mess already.  That's a great idea.


What's next on the list, add free airfair to the destination of their choice when they take a week of vacation?

 Boy, Lansing just loves the "sounds good" bills.  Why do government employees need special privileges?  Private sector does not get special treatment for good deeds.  Government employees already receive and abundance of special-off time that is paid for by the tax payers who do not receive all the special paid time off days.  Yet, private citizens still seem to manage to do good deeds.   Vote NO.  No more tax payer expenses because they sound so nice.
