- Introduced by Rep. Kathy Angerer (D) on April 22, 2010, to revise the 2008 law mandating that electric utilities reduce the amount of energy they provide by 1 percent each year beginning in 2012. The bill would require that beginning in 2016 utilities reduce the amount of power they provide by 2.0 percent over the previous year.

Our Governor is pushing Michigan to produce electric cars and batteries, which will need ELECTRICITY TO RECHARGE THEM! Now they want to limit the production of electricity---and charge us more if we don't. How stupid can these people be?!! So much discussion in favor of these measures is centered around stopping global warming, but NOBODY has proven that we're having any effect with burning fossil fuels. OH, YES, WE HAVE AGREEMENT AMONG OUR ENLIGHTENED! No proof, and don't complicate the issue with the FACTS!!! It's time to clean house and try to find SOMEONE capable of thinking of something other that lining their own pockets and getting reelected in the next election.
