Introduced by Sen. Cameron Brown (R) on July 15, 2009, to provide sentencing guidelines for the crime proposed by Senate Bill 689 of paying a person to collect voter registrations based on the number of registrations they solicit (rather than a flat hourly wage).

Definitely!! We also should demand that NO ONE be paid to register voters or collect petition signatures. If someone feels strongly enough about the issue, they will do it on their own. Only a gas reimbursement should be allowed. This is one way to get the big money out of politics and government back in the hands of the People.

Whoa! You trying to put acorn or Rev. Pinckney of Benton Harbor out of business? Those may be the jobs Obama was talikng about in the stimulus package.
