Introduced by Sen. Gretchen Whitmer (D) on June 25, 2009, to require a “crisis pregnancy organization, defined as a non-profit organization that provides services and counseling to women with unplanned or unwanted pregnancies, to give women a “medically accurate and objective explanation of the full range of options, including abortion, parenting, and adoption”.

Excellent bill, since the crisis pregnancy services affected invariably receive some kind of public funding support. This bill merely provides that clients must be provided accurate and full (and therefore politically and philosophically neutral) information about all their options, so they can make informed decisions about their own lives.

GOVERNMENT overstepping its boundaries! It is up to the individual PRIVATE organization and counselor to decide what advice to give - NOT the LIBERAL DEMOCRATS!!!
