Introduced by Sen. Martha G. Scott (D) on June 25, 2009, to impose a new coverage mandate that would require Blue Cross Blue Shield policies that contain prescription drug coverage to cover contraceptives under the same terms, co-pays, etc. as other covered prescription drugs.

There is no good reason Blue Cross should not include prescriped contraception drugs in policies that cover other prescription drugs. They cover erectile dysfunction drugs in these policies.

I support this legislation.
