 I believe it would be cost effective for insurance companies to pay for contraception. Their decision not to pay may not stop people from having sex, but might be the deciding factor in some cases on whether they use protection or not. Lets be honest the insurance company will be strapped with paying for the pregnancy,insuring the child, and possible covering any STD treatment that result from unprotected sex.

 I think this bill is a great idea. It would make contraceptives much more readily available for those who would like to take them, but presently their insurance doesn't pay for them and they're too expensive to pay cash for.
