• Introduced by Sen. Nancy Cassis (R) on March 25, 2009, to increase the “film and digital media infrastructure project” investment subsidies passed in 2008 from a refundable credit to 25 percent of the investment to 30 percent, and require 90 percent of the employees to be Michigan residents. See also Senate Bill 404, which would put an overall cap on these subsidies.
