A complete repeal of this disastrous DRA law is the only acceptable solution. The severe negative consequences of the Drivers Responsibility Act have completely overwhelmed the value of the revenue collected. These negative consequences were predicted by the National Motorists Association before the law was passed, and have been the case in the other states with similar laws. Virginia was smart enough to see the problems very early in their trials with their law and repealed it. Michigan needs to repeal our DRA.
