 But of course, Jelinek won't sponsor a bill for Joe sixpack that would allow the price negotiated and paid for a house to be the true cash value. No, of course not, Joe sixpack has to pay the inflated, politically derived and never decreasing pop-up value. I have yet to see a pop-down clause to reduce the value of a house or in anything people like Jelinek have their hands in.
