Introduced by Sen. Glenn Anderson (D) on January 29, 2009, to require schools to adopt a policy prohibiting harassment, intimidation, or bullying; and to require the Department of Education to develop a model policy.

there are already laws in place to stop trespassing, and guards and administrators in place to stop trespassing. they don't need a bullying bill to stop trespassing. if the guards and administrators were doing their jobs, we wouldn't need a law to stop bullying either.

I am in full support of this bill, due to the fact that it should stop outsiders from transpassing on school property, and the School Administrators and Security guards need to enforce the contents of this bill.

perhaps if schools were free to discipline children who bully, there would be less bullying.

also, if PARENTS were held responsible for their children's bullying, it would happen less.

if you want the iron fist of government involved, at least use them effectively.
