Introduced by Sen. Glenn Anderson (D) on January 29, 2009, to require licensure and regulation of commercial animal waste handlers, including training and bonding requirements, license fees, and adherence to regulations specified in the bill and to further regulations that the Department of Environmental Quality would be authorized to impose in the future without additional legislation.

why do we need new CAFO regulations?

because the old ones didn't 'work' the way the legislature expected. they expected to raise more revenue than actually came in.

do we need new CAFO regulations because of the muck in the lakes?

no, we need to find out what causes the muck in the lakes and leave the dairy farmers alone.

you know, j. if you spent HALF the time listening and learning that you spend harping, moaning, complaining, and changing the subject, you'd be the highest educated man on the planet.

i have a life. it's a GOOD life. i'm working to make MY life better, and i heartily reccomend that everybody else try and make THEIR OWN life better. if each and every one of us did that, no one would NEED the welfare state you are trying to create.

if you quit trying to take my RIGHTS, my MONEY, and my GUNS, we would have very little to argue over.
