Introduced by Sen. Bill Hardiman (R) on January 14, 2009, to require election campaign phone calls to voters to include disclosure of who is paying for the call, including whether the call is not authorized by a candidate. This would also apply to automated mass phone calls (“robocalls”).

how about we treat it the same way they treat unsolicited advertisements by fax. they are not allowed by federal law. there is no difference between a fax and a phone, except the fax makes a hard copy. it's still an "uninvited intrusion". let's put some teeth into the NO CALL LIST.
