• Introduced by Rep. Bert Johnson (D) on October 20, 2009, to authorize a specialty license plate for professional sports teams, including the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Lions, Detroit Pistons, and Detroit Tigers. Proceeds from the sale of the plates would go to a professional sports team fund which would distribute money to youth sports programs.
