Introduced by Rep. Paul Opsommer (R) on September 24, 2009, to prohibit an employee or officer of the state department responsible for buying supplies, equipment, or services for the state, or awarding contracts for rentals, leases, or construction projects, from meeting outside of normal work hours or outside of a governmental workplace with an individual who is required to be registered as a lobbyist, unless the meeting has been posted as open to the public under the requirements of the Open Meetings Act.

This is not only an excellent, but it should have been enacted a long time ago. We surely should not have "back room" deals going on without public knowledge.
