 The amendment requiring accountabilty and auditing of the pension funds failed-which reinforces my suspicions that this bill has less to do with bolstering the pension funds and more to do with lining the pockets of politicians and their friends with taxpayers dollars.

 Oh boy,I can see the pension funds wanting a bailout already. I wonder how much will be invested oin BBQ joints and liquor stores. Did the ex-mayor of Detroit ask for this bill? I imagine the traing sessions will be held in Vegas etc?

 Apologies to users for the bill entry transposition error that caused this discussion to wind up in the wrong place. The Brass Roots bill is 2009 HB 5324.
