If someone wants to advertise their religious or political beliefs, they can find many bumper stickers available for them to display. There is no need for the state to turn a vehicle license into a bumper sticker, for whatever cause. I oppose this and all "vanity plate" involvement by the state.

Does anyone know who or what group will be paying the up-front costs to get this going (if legislation passes)? I've read the bill and checked around, but can't find anything. Or will this be like the "I believe" plates and the state itself is paying instead of a group? And will there be a pro-choice one, too? Somehow I doubt it...I guess it's time to write my senator & representative again.
Thanks for any information anyone can offer.
