- Introduced by Rep. Dian Slavens (D) on June 17, 2009, to restrict noise levels associated with oil and gas drilling near residential property. Between 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. the noise could not exceed 50 decibels; during the day this would be 55 decibels.

The beer keg tags and drilling permit procedures are two different issues.

Seems a small price to pay for the freedom of residents to regulate their living environment to their liking.
Ironic that some would say putting tags on beer kegs is moving towards a police state, but residents exercising their rights to maintain their version of a peaceful and quiet environment is too complicating and expensive.
