• Introduced by Rep. Vicki Barnett (D) on April 21, 2009, to require retailers to post the country of origin of all perishable food offered for sale, and of oral hygiene products like mouthwash and toothpaste. The bill would make not doing so a violation of the Consumer Protection Act.
