That's a dumb reply. So when you use your boat ramp, do you pay for all 3 trucks each time? Why not? If you can afford 3 vehicles you should pay for all three each time you use it.

So they can collect more money from you of course.  If you have enough money to have 3 vehicles you certainly have enough to give "your fair share".  Our local boat ramp requires a permit to use the boat ramp.  I use one boat but several trucks to tow it.  Too bad, you need a permit for each truck.

 Why is it necessary for these passes to be vehicle passes? Why not just issue them to individuals along with their drivers license? They shouldn't be driving to the park without a drivers license. As long as one person in the car has the park permit, it shouldn't matter what the vehicle is or where it's plates are registered. The permit could be left on the dash or hung on the mirror like a handicap sticker. I have three vehicles. Why should I need a permit for each of them since I can drive only one at a time?.
