This really doesn't say much about pay after reading it. If a Steward is conducting union business he should be paid but buy who is something that is negotiated during collective bargaining. I wish some of our representatives would worry more about other things then trying to pass laws that will lead to union busting. Is this is the best use of time we really need to be spending on debate instead of real issues that effect Michigan adversly.

there is no reason to pay a union steward to do union work during 'state paid' time. to do so is to condone theft.
