That 90 yearold veteran in Bay City that froze to death because the utility company put a limiter on his meter without informing him deserved our protection. I doubt it would have cost the utility anymore to have made sure they weren't killing anyone.

Rep. Agema, having reserved the right to explain his protest against the passage of the bill, made the following statement:


“Mr. Speaker and members of the House:


More needless regulations that adds to your utility bill. Few people read this type of stuff but it all adds cost.”
