2009 House Bill 4577 (Increase school employee pensions )

Introduced by Rep. Rebekah Warren (D) on March 12, 2009, to increase the pension payments to school employees who retired before October 1990 by between 4 percent and 30 percent based on when they retired. The bill does not specify the means by with the large increase in unfunded liability would be paid.

it costs a lot to get elected these days, and the MEA has kicked in a big chunk of money to get the job done.
