Introduced by Rep. Goeff Hansen (R) on February 4, 2009, to prohibit the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) or other state agencies from imposing rules and regulations regarding workplace “ergonomics.” After convening a “workgroup” for several years to draft such rules this agency proceeded to promulgate the rules shortly before the bill was introduced.
Referred to the House Labor Committee on February 4, 2009.

Another decent plan to keep the cost of doing business in Michigan down. While you are at it, why not start eliminating the some of the ridiculous rules, and hoops a business or utility has to jump thru to bring real gas/electric power to us.
