Introduced by Rep. Bill Rogers (R) on January 22, 2009, to prohibit a candidate who loses a primary election running as write-in candidate for same office at general election (unless the primary winner dies or becomes ineligible).

Seems to me like this bill would change the rules for running. At this time, nothing bans a primary loser from running as a write in.

we understand that you don't care. but what makes you think that this bill is misguided? shouldn't citizens who wish to run obey the rules for running?

This one doesn't wonder, or care.

This one thinks this bill is misguided. The more citizens running for an elected position, the better.
