• Introduced by Rep. LaMar Lemmons, Jr. (D) on January 22, 2009, to allow a criminal defendant in a trial held in Detroit to have a jury comprised of just Detroit residents, if he or she requests it. The city council would have to vote to allow this system to go into effect.
