1) this scares me [by Anonymous Citizen on September 13, 2008]
I work in a physicians office and believe me, we have enough red tape to get thru just to take care of our patients and get paid for it. Now this state wants to make the physician responsible for removing a person's drivers license due to mental or physical problems.

My husband was run down on his motorcycle by an inconsiderate jerk who only got a small fine for doing so (he ran a stop sign). We have had to alter our lives because of this. It scares me to think that one of his physicians (many of whom believe motorcycles should be banned altogether) could make the recommendadtion to the state that he not be allowed to have his cycle endorsement because of the injuries he sustained to his leg. I am definately going to send a letter to my Senator and Representative to not support this legislation as it is sending us down yet another slippery slope with our seat belts on!

2) Hey Comrad Olshove [by Anonymous Citizen on July 8, 2008]
Why don't you olshove off and get out of our lives. You are either some kind of mental patient yourself or just not too bright. Either way, I'm sending a letter to the state to get you suspended from your job since you have the potential to hurt all the people in this state.

3) can you say seatbent law? [by Anonymous Citizen on July 7, 2008]
I remember this... first, no seatbelt laws... then, you must wear a seatbelt at all times, but we won't give you a ticket, just a warning, and we will never, ever pull you over just because you're not wearing your seatbelt... next, if we pull you over for another violation and you're not wearing your seat belt, we will give you a ticket for both... followed by, we will be pulling you over any time we see that you are not wearing a seatbelt... and probably not the final step but NEXT, we will set up check points and randomly pull over any car we want just to make sure you are wearing your seatbelt. What do you think... the government concerned for your safety or a desire to get as much of your cash as possible.
COMIMG SOON, Doctors will be fined (along with the 'bad' driver) if they knowingly allow a person to drive who may, might be, could possibly be, or may at some future date be, a danger to any living thing (whether plant, animal or human). Doctors have deep pockets, don't they? You know, it's all about the money...um,I mean, keeping people safe!
