• Introduced by Sen. Deborah Cherry (D) on June 12, 2008, to allow “21st Century Jobs Fund” money disbursed under the “venture capital investment program” component of that multi-faceted business subsidy program to go to venture capital funds that subcontract a business development office in the state to another firm. Under current law they have to run the office themselves.
