1) here is a deal [by Anonymous Citizen on May 10, 2008]
I have not seen one bill yet, proposed or passed to help the law abiding hard working honest people of Michigan. Every bill is either restricting people or costing them money; this is one that, I can find no reason in, bill 1194 banning novelty lighters they say Maine was the first to do it so I guess that must be good. I bet every one of you that reads this is worried about novelty lighters and having some one stick a tracking device on your car, the state tax on gasoline is not important or the price of food or the cost of licensing your car oh and all the jobs leaving Michigan not to mention the illegal immigrants entering Michigan. So when you pay for your gas that is taxed a lot, as you walk by the illegal asking for change you won’t see any novelty lighters, and don’t worry your wont be tracked with out knowing it. This should make you happy

2) Part Time [by Anonymous Citizen on May 9, 2008]
This is more evidence why the parasites should be part time. Oh they already are but they still collect full pay and benefits and come up with this type of self-serving legislation.

3) Suspicious law [by Anonymous Citizen on May 9, 2008]
Worried about where you go and don’t want anyone to know. Good law, if I was in politics and going places I don’t want the public to know, or cheating on my wife or husband, or stole a car this is good. It discourages people from tracking me on there own. Sec 682c b is real good. I think this means if there is a tracking device on a state own vehicle or any other vehicle you use the driver would have to be notified. Why would I want a law like this? Think about it. We all ready have stalking laws. Where you going Senator or who ya meeting with?

4) Hurts business [by Anonymous Citizen on May 9, 2008]
There is a whole industry (Private Investigators) that make a living placing tracking devices on the vehicles of suspected cheating spouses. Anyone that thinks we need more laws or more Government should go live in one of the Socialist Countries of the world, oh wait, there aren't very many left anymore (That are worth living in) wonder if that is because socialism doesn't work?
