Introduced by Sen. Dennis Olshove (D) on April 22, 2008, to authorize a refundable income tax credit of up to $1,000 for a taxpayer who provides care for a parent who lived in the taxpayer's home for 180 days or more during the tax year.

How about a credit for Parents who take in their adult children and grandchildren. There is a lot of that going around right now.
