Introduced by Sen. Roger Kahn (R) on March 11, 2008, to allow applicants for a liquor license or license renewal to pay extra to get expedited processing. The current deadline for the Liquor Control Commission to issue a permit is 90 days; under the bill a $1,200 fee would buy 10 day processing, and a $600 fee would buy 20 day processing.

Tony Soprano would be proud of you guys. We pay taxes so you can run the government, then if we want the government to operate like any business should we have to pay extortion to you again. Maybe the whole government should work this way, if you got the money, we got the services.
You folks should thank your lucky stars that most of the sheeple are idiots thanks to your government schools. Hey, this could work there too. If you actually want your kid to get an education without indoctrination you just slip the principal 20 bucks a day. Just think of the possibilities, secretary of state? Tired of waiting for hours? Just bring an extra hundred with you for our new expedited service.
Want a cop to show up faster when you call 911? Just tell the operator that there's a fifty in it for the first cop/revenue agent that shuts off his radar gun and actually responds to a crime. Man, this is fun and we haven't even got to that picture of expediancy, the friend of the court. Next week we'll try it out on the post office.
