Introduced by Sen. Dennis Olshove (D) on February 19, 2008, to revise the law that authorizes restrictive contracts between motor fuel wholesalers and distributors and franchised gas stations, so as to empower the gas stations to not be limited by the contracts when purchasing of alterative fuels (including ethanol, biodiesel, hydrogen or compressed natural gas), if the wholesaler/distributor does not provide these products.
