 why not SELL it to the sportsmen? they raise funds yearly to keep the environment pristine. selling them land would place it under their control, get it out of the state's hands, and provide a possible source of income to the state.


let's also say that as long as it's kept for recreational use (hunting, fishing, etc.) that the land is tax exempt.

 I am glad we have a lot of this land for th sportsman/women I think they should keep it..

Sell it to Exxon. If we can't do that then sell it to the pie in the sky companie. The state owns too much land.
