Introduced by Rep. Marty Knollenberg (R) on July 23, 2008, to authorize counties to impose a county motor fuel tax (gas and diesel tax) of up to 7 cents per gallon for road and public transportation spending. A vote of the people in the county would be required.

Vote Schmote. Just let the dear leaders make these kind of decisions for us. We can't be bothered with this kind of stuff. Why stop at 7 cents? Let's just make it an even buck.

I do not understand why our leaders would want to impose more taxes on their residents, when the economy is at one of it's worst in years. this will be one of the poorest states, within a ten year period,,,,,

Sweet Lord! I can't afford the 10 mile drive to my job as it is! And that's car-pooling 2x/week! Are you out of your minds!?!?!?!?!? November will not get here soon enough. I just hope the people in your district have enough sense to get you out of office as soon as possible!
