Introduced by Rep. Rebekah Warren (D) on July 16, 2008, to impose limits on the number and size of samples given to patrons at wine and beer tasting events in establishments with liquor licenses. For wine the cap would be three one-ounce samples, and for beer three two-ounce samples. The bill would also authorize a new type of liquor license that would allow bars and restaurants to sell bottles of wine for off-premises consumption.
