Introduced by Rep. George Cushingberry (D) on June 3, 2008, to require Michigan horse race simulcasts and betting at the Detroit casinos (off-track betting), and also require that any new casino compacts negotiated or renegotiated with Indian tribes also require them to provide this. The state would get a portion of the gambling revenue from this form of betting.
